West Clifton Blvd. & Northwood Ave.
While traveling north on West Clifton just north of Detroit, there is a fairly steep downhill grade between here and Overlook Rd. AN officer sits on either Sloane or Northwood Avenue and shoots radar at unsuspecting motorists coming down the hill.
Detroit Ave. near Hird Ave.
Officer hides in an alleyway off Detroit just west of Hird. This alley is between two large brick buildings, making him/her impossible to spot.
Anywhere on Clifton Blvd.
Do not speed on Clifton through Lakewood. Officers will use any inconspicuous location to hide and run radar, ranging from behind dumpsters, on side streets, to behind large buildings. Clifton is a seven lane boulevard with a speed limit of 35 MPH.
Madison Ave. near West 117th St.
Sits on Madison Ave. usually clocking northbound drivers on West 117th where the speed limit has just dropped from 35 to 25.
