W. 117th Street near Carbon Road

Lakewood, OhioApr 15, 20060 Comments

W. 117th street from Carbon Road to Clifton Blvd heading both directions has officers that sit continuously in fast food parking lots and around bridge pillars. They show no mercy, so be careful.

Both Cleveland and Lakewood local police patrol this area, as it a major throughway with lots of business and high rise apartment buildings

I-90 & McKinley

One of the things that Lakewood likes to do is to have 1 officer sit on the McKinley bridge over I-90 west-bound side and run laser. They will have anywhere from 2 to 3 cars sitting on either the on-ramp (to chase you down) or 1/2 mile down the interstate to stop ytou as you come up to them.

Lake Road at the Rocky River boarder

Lakewood, OhioDec 03, 20021 Comments

Rocky River police will sit in the parking lot of Mason’s Auto Body watching for speeders coming over the bridge from Lakewood. This bridge is very easy to speed on because it goes over a river and there is a moderate turn before you get into Rocky River. On the bridge itself, there is nowhere for an officer to sit, however they sit in that parking lot just after the curve. This is a big money maker for them and it is impossible to see them before they have already tagged you. Also, you hit a business district right at this point as well, so fines are higher if they catch you

Be Aware of Lakewood Police On Mckinley Bridge with waiting police cars on onramp. Also the latest is 1/2 miles away over the Rocky River Bridge is a stealth cop (new style of lights that can’t be detected unless at a angle located in the roof)This guy sits on the left shoulder right after the hill past the rocky river bridge.
