W 117 southbound after Bellaire, Lindale begins – 1 cop car
Lindale is 1 square mile and has 3 cop cars. Sometimes 2 sit with radar guns that cover one quarter of a mile. The chief of police also patrols. The chief is also the mayor and fire chief. You get the picture…

city police wwho have literally a 1/4 mile stretch of highway going north and south ticket speeders religously at all hours. The sign for linndale is posted going in both directions just before you enter the city limit; and as fast as you came in, you are out again. The real trick is when the cleveland police are waiting for you on the ither side when you speed up again!

The "Village of Linndale" which is basically a couple blocks of houses, a burger king, and a town hall..pretty much has cops sitting under the bridge on I-71 north and/or south (I-71 only goes thru Linndale for a quarter of a mile, if even) any time they want because I swear that’s the only way they make money. 3 out of 5 people I know have gotten tickets for hardly breaking the limit. So anytime I’m going thru that quarter of a mile I just make sure I’m right at 60 mph then I start doing 65-70 like everyone else is to keep up with traffic. I can’t believe nobody’s submitted this one yet.
