They usually sit on the side of the road near the new Superior Medical Center. Lots of the time they have no lights on and makes them hard to see unless you are already passing them, then it may be to late.

State Route US 6 W Erie Ave near Oak Point Rd Road
LPD sits on the southside of the roadway west of Oak Point Rd and in the afternoon I’ve seen the OSHP sitting in the same area.
West Erie Avenue near State Route 58
Lorain Police Department locates themselves in either the Kerr Beverage Company parking lot on the South side of West Erie Avenue or in one of the numerous access roads on the North side of the road. This trap is located between State Route 58 and Kolbe Road.
Kansas Avenue near Henderson Bridge
LPD will sometimes have a unit on either side of Henderson Bridge to try and catch speeders as they come off of it. On the north side of the bridge, they will try to hide by the denny’s area. On the southside, they will hide on the east side of the road right before the underpass.
