Lucas, Ohio Speed Traps

When traveling out of Lucas, after the railroad tracks on Moffet Road, the speed limit is 25 until you are out of city limits. Coming into Lucas on Moffet Road the speed limit is 35 on the same stretch of road. They are ticketing drivers going out of town, due to speed limit 25, on that side of the road.

Lucas Ohio has a portable Speed camera that is moved from one end of town to the other. Luckily the locals have been placing signs in their yards to let those driving through know in advance. Look for the signs as the speed limit through most of the town is 35. But in the "downtown" area it is 25.
