The whole city of Mason is a speed trap. All of the four lane roads are 35mph and all of the side streets are 25 or 35mph. They set everywhere and run speed traps all day. Look at the website they have up for paying tickets. Talk about convenient? They are the worst place in the Cincinnati area and the cops give NO breaks. If you travel through Mason, don’t give them the chance to add to the Taj Mahal they work out of. What a disgrace!!! The tickets start at $175 for 0-10 over and go up from there. Stay out of Mason Ohio!!!!!

Cops routinely set traps in this 25 mph neighborhood that leads to the Golf and Tennis Center. They get a lot of neighborhood citizen complaints and have designated it a high enforcement area and have posted signs as such.

Police set in the drive for entering this compound waiting for over 35 mph traffic from the west. Irwin-Simpson is a 4-lane street with no driveways or intersection betwee Duke Blvd and Mason-Montgomery Rd farther to the west. No purpose for the 35 mph speed limit except to issue speeding tickets.

The police cars sit in the drop-off area of the parking lot where parents let their kids off. They are there at random times of the day.

Cop sits on entrance to Luxoticca Office Building and clocks east bound traffic (towards I-71 south ramp). The east bound traffic cannot see the cop since there is a artificial berm around which the road turns sharply. As you come around the curve around the berm, you get zapped and then pulled over. No matter what it is always a ticket. I had a clean driving record with not a single ticket and yet I was not given a warning. The whole set up is a revenue generating machine for the city of Mason.
