Maumee, Ohio Speed Traps

Cop car with radar sits in the parking lot near Dussel and the overpass toward Heatherdowns (next to Ned Skeldon stadium). See him there every day, usually around 11:30am.

Maumee cop sits on divider clocking for speeders coming in or out – don’t go over 35 MPH coming in or out of Maumee.

They sit right in the church parking lot of a church right there, also see them at Wayne Trail right down the street.

Police generally sit in The Appliance Center parking lot to catch people heading into Maumee. They generally sit just behind the drive-thru carry-out so they are out of sight until it’s too late.

Apparently a helicopter clocks speed and police down the
road pull people over and ticket them. They say it doesn’t matter if you are at normal speeds when they pull you over. My advice – don’t try to pass a car in this area.
