Mount Vernon, Ohio Speed Traps

Speed limit goes from 55 to 40 in a hurry while traveling downhill. My radar detector went off well before the 40 mph sign. Needless to say he claims i was speeding. yeah, right

They will clock cars by radar 2-3 b;ocks beyond the last place of business then claim they violated the 25 mph speed limit in the "Business district" There are no speed limit signs within a mile.

The cops sit in the medical offices and get you coming down the hill.

At Verndale and Hillcrest, continuing on down the hill to the next intersection at the bottom of the very steep hill, officers sit in the medical office parking lot. Yet, when you complain about other areas nearby that are even worse and where kids are playing, they refuse to moniter traffic when citizens request extra patrol.
