The speed limit drops to 25 MPH and cops like to sit in the cemetery. There are several pretty steep hills that make it almost impossible to just do the speed limit. Cops have no mercy!

Between 82 and W130th the Rangers on the Parkway like to sit in the parking lot on the right side of teh road going east. But they don’t always sit here, they mix it up and pull their cars off of the road at any spot, commonly around bends. Speed limit here is 30 but most people travel 35-40. They like to nab speeders in the AM and PM rush hours, people getting of I71 and cutting through to W130th.

State Route 82 near State and Ridge Road

Now that they are doing construction on Route 82 (Royalton Road) in North Royalton between the hours of 7 am to 7 pm there is a no left turn rule in progress at both the Ridge Road and State Road intersections. In both intersections there are at least one, but up to three different cruisers at anytime sitting in the parking lots waiting for violaters to turn leFort They are ruthless stopping and ticketing everyone they can. I work on the corner of State Road and in an 8 hour shift I at least see the Roaylton Police issue a dozen tickets a day and those are only the ones I see. Beware!

State Highway 82 near State Road

This section of SR82 (Royalton Road) the limit drops to 25, yet there are few curb breaks, no schools and very few cross streets which leads to a natural inclination to go about 40. At the top of the hill as Westbound approaches the town center is a parking lot that the barely marked cars (dark blue writing on navy blue car with a tiny blue strobe light) will clock you. Once you’re clear of this there sometimes will be another at the bottom of the steep hill between Ridge and York. It goes to 35, but I need to use a lot of brake to stay under 45.
