Southbound on Oberlin Road outside of city limits

Oberlin, OhioJul 27, 20020 Comments

Oberlin Road outside of the city limits is 55 MPH, but once you hit the city it drops to 35. Just outside of the city limits is an electrical power station; its entrance is obscured by high growth, and dips below the roadline. There is quite often a squad car posted there, watching for traffic headed toward town (southbound) that could be deemed as going too fast (yet outside of city limits). Basically, the car is IMPOSSIBLE to see from any direction, so be sure to slow down well before the power station is seen. Also, a bit south of this spot (about 1/2 mile) is an industrial warehouse, the NACS building. There is also occasionally a squad car there as well, but that’s usually easier to see.
