Pemberville, Ohio Speed Traps
Pemberville Road coming into both ends of town
The cop sits at the water station by Harrison Park, and if you come flying into the south part of town and don’t know there is a 35 mph limit, you WILL get nailed. Going out of town is the same way. If you get past Harrison park and go over the 35 mph limit, they will chase you down and nail you, unless you accelerate outside of the town. Early in the morning (or late at night), In the north part of town, the cop will sit at the IGA or in the driveway to the baseball diamond by the tracks. As soon as you cross the tracks, the speed limit goes from 55 to 25 (the county has recently improved the chances of not speeding into town occurring by putting warning signs of the 25 mph limit before coming to the tracks) and they will nail you if you go over the speed limit. Due to the late night/early morning nature of this trap, this also can nail people after drinking.
The Entire Town!
Make sure you pay complete attention to the speed limit signs. I always go a couple miles under still though. They will pull you over for no reason, just if it’s not a vehicle they recognize!
Bierley Ave & South St
The whole town of Pemberville is a speed trap, but this section is the worst. It is marked 25 MPH, even though it could more realistically be 35 MPH. There is usually a cop at the Water Station across from Modine. If not, look in your rearview mirror.
