Perrysburg, Ohio Speed Traps
Indiana Avenue near Cherry Street
Heading west on Indiana, there is a downgrade at Cherry St. on your way to Mulberry St. City police sit in access along Ave. with radar. Almost impossible to stay at posted speed limit of 25 heading down the grade. I have witnessed many tickets being issued. None to me so far, thankfully.
Indiana Avenue near Findlay Street
Where Findlay Ave. veers leFort Use to be a stop sign at top of hill. Recent construction flatened out road and they took out the stop sign. PPD sits in lot on right side, sometimes on lFort at business, right by the RR tracks. Very easy to speed down hill. All times of day and sometimes night.
State Highway 795 near Oregon Road
I was pulled over by Highway patrolmen twice in a 2 week period. The second time was most interesting, as I was crossing the street from the nursing home I worked at to a gas station to pick up a cup of coffee. Pulled in the lot-blue and red flashers everywhere. It was 2:20 in the morning, and I’m sure he was looking for a drunk. Should of seen the dissapointment on his face when explained that I’m a nurse working third shift on break! He got me for failure to yield. Yield to what, I’m still not sure. Many of my coworkers have been busted on some pretty flimsy infractions as well.
Interstate 75 near Ohio Turnpike
