They hide in the dark or during the day at the local dollar general parking lot. If it is at night you can’t see them at all due to lack of lighting and they sit about 100 ft off the roadway.

This community has illegally cited motorist running southbound past 316 Fostoria Road Address for years. According to ODOT District 2, Rising Sun was notified in 1993 to respond to the States recommended Prima Facie law regarding enforcable speed limits set by ODOT, to current day the Village of Risingsun has ignored and failed to file and comply with the State by filing journal entries to drop a speed limit from 50 mph to 35 mph that extend to their southbound Corporation limit. Officers sit on private property without permission by land owner with lights off at night illegally clocking traffic in that area.

St. Rt. 23

Rising Sun, OhioNov 15, 20020 Comments

Rt.23 runs north and south through the eastern edge of the village. In the daylight hours you might spot them, but it is unlikely. They like to hide at the old truck stop between parked trucks, or the southern edge of the village in a clump of bushes. If traffic is moving rather slow (beware they are some where in the area).
