Riverside, Ohio Speed Traps
State Route 4 N.B. near State Route 444
Approx 0630, A Riverside or OSP car sits on the Northbound side right at the turn-a-round facing north. With the sun coming up or if the weather is kinda foggy he’ll sit there waiting to catch someone. It’s a slight curve and it looks like he’s moving but he’s not.
Woodman Drive near Springfield Street
On northbound Woodman Drive (speed limit 45 mph) as you approach the Springfield Street interchange, the road traverses a right-left curve. As you round the left-hand curve and approach the Springfield Street exit ramp, John Law can be found sitting in the "gore" area between the travel lanes and ramp. The concrete divider separating north and southbound traffic prevents you from seeing the Riverside police cruiser until you are on top of it.
State Highway Colonel Glenn near Spinning Road
On Colonel Glenn Highway, especially where it passes by the military housing are called "Praires at Wright Field". Even though that is the City of Riverside, all the stops on that road are done by the Air Force military cops. They like to hid on the side streets of the military housing with no lights or just parking lights on. They will also pull you over for non-speeding reasons. I got pulled over for no light on my rear license plate holder.
