Saint Louisville, Ohio Speed Traps
Route 13 by Early Bird’s Breakfast
They sit there at night on either side of the building. If they sit on the west side of the building and you are traveling north you can’t see them until you’re right on top of them. And if they’re siting on the east side of the building and you’re traveling south you can’t even see they’re there until you’ve already passed them.
State Route 13
Police hide on the side of the road. Many times not visible to on coming traffic. They make their money in this little village handing out $90+ tickets to unexpecting drivers. I had not had a ticket since I was a teen, over 15 years ago. Route 13 is 55mph, but if you don’t slow down to 45mph, they will get you! I was going 55mph. I think a warning would have been sufficient for 10 mph over, considering the entire route is 55mph.
State Route 13 North near Firehouse Lane Street
St. Louisville is a village north of Newark OH. They sit on the left hand side of the road as you are traveling north on SR 13. They can clock in both directions. Its not unlikely for them to pull you over for 2 MPH over, the speed limited is posted at 45 MPH. They also sit on Loches Rd just off of SR 13 which is 25 MPH. Be Careful!
