On a short hill immediately north of the parking area described in another entry, speed limit changes to 25 MPH and continues to the end of the median area toward the north side of the village. Officers may park just over the top of the hill, or at any vantage point on either side of the street to enforce.

Traveling north from south Shadyside SH 7 interchange, patrolmen often stationed in parking area located at bottom of grade enforcing 30 MPH peed limit which begins at corporate limit. 20 MPH school zone indicated by flashing signal begins in the area – strictly enforced.

Just as you enter Shadyside they have a school zone that is
not even in view of the school. We receiced a $130.00 ticket in this trap. We plan to avoid this town and their businesses at all costs. Shadyside is the new speedtrap of Belmont county.
