From State Route 741 on Pennyroyal. They either sit behind a large Pine tree off to the right which you can’t see until you’re up on them or they park to the left once you pass the dip in the road.

741 between 73 and Dayton Wright Brothers Airport. Rated 45, its a 4 lane divided highway. DO NOT SPEED HERE. Its underrated and highly patrolled at all hours.

Tanglewood Drive

Springboro, OhioJun 30, 20060 Comments

Tanglewood Drive thru the McCray Farms and Woodland Greens subdivision. Heading south on Tanglewood from Lytle 5 Points to McCray Blvd, there is a curve and since you are going from Clearcreek Township into Springboro there is frequently a Springboro cop running radar, and by the time you make the curve it’s too late. Clearcreek runs radar going the opposite way. Apparently Tanglewood has turned into a cut thru for people living in Settlers Walk who take Tanglewood to Lytle 5 to avoid the traffic lights on 741. If you don’t live in Woodland Greens or McCray, chances and you are cutting thru chances are they will warn you of that also when they issue you a ticket for speed. Beware, there is NO warning, it’s always a ticket, no matter how little over you’re going.

State Route 73 near west of S.R. 741

Springboro, OhioMar 14, 20050 Comments

West of S.R. 741 along S.R. 73 the speed changes from 45 mph to 35 mph. If you do not slow down or don’t see the speed change, the Springboro police are there. Their station is right down the road so it seems that there is always a police car nearby.
