Walton Hills, Ohio Speed Traps
Alexander Road and Nodding Hill Drive area
They have an automatic photo enforced speed camera there. Speed limit is supposedly 35, but doesn’t have a sign there, if you go 12 over, you get a ticket. Be careful when driving that way, the trap is over by the church there.
On Alexander road just west of Walton Rd
A cop that looks like Gomer Pyle sits up on a stub road shooting radar. He pulled me over (I was going 52 in the 35 mph marked zone) the 35 mph is a low posting for the road conditions there. This cop is extra paranoid and wears extra clips of ammo on his belt. I got out of my car first and he told me I could have gotten shot? I grew up in this community 50 plus years ago. This guy was a Moron. I was there to visit my brother who has cancer.
Dunham Road near Alexander Road
Walton Hills is known as a speed trap. I was busted twice going up and down the same hill in a week. And apparently I was doing the same speed. Their prosecutor is the nephew of Mary Rose Oakar who bounced checks when she was in congress. Walton hills has been known as a speed trap town since the 70’s. My former High School teacher was a part time cop there and told us kids that in the 80’s. I got off the tickets after challenging him that it was a speed trap. Cops are very rude there.
