State Highway Patrol sit In the “Y” bottom of the HIll.
South Street near W. Market Street
Warren police take advantage of senseless 25 mph limit on 4-5 lane main through-street. Any time of day, but be particularly careful 11PM-3AM. Hot spot at intersection where W. Market veers and South St. begins, from Hot Dog Shoppe on W. Market, and usually sitting in a car lot on south side of South St. at bottom of hill just east of intersection.
State Route 5 near State Route 534
Coming in from Warren Township at 55 mph speed limit to Newton Township, speed drops suddenly before you are aware of the change. State Hiway Patrol very busy there.
State Route 82 near Warren/Champion Bypass
OSHP constantly patrol Route 82 on the Warren/Champion bypass and sit in the middle between both lanes. Speed limit is 55 mph across most of the road, although happy motoring could easily be 65.
State Route 422 near The Strip in Warren and Niles
There’s a section of RT.422 starts in Warren and follows all the way to Niles. It’s mostly all commerical development, so they like hiding in parking lots, behind the buildings
