Westerville, Ohio Speed Traps
930 County Line Rd
Officer sits in the city schools maintenance complex every day, partially hidden by trees. Is usually there from 7am-9am, 2-3pm – School Zone. 20Mph. Alternates between LIDAR and radar so detector will not always work.
Huber Village Blvd & Eastwind Dr
Speed Limit is 25MPH here and they don’t tolerate much more. They use LIDAR which a radar detector will not detect. Very frequently sit hidden in the parking lots off Huber Village.
Polaris Parkway near State Route 3
This speed trap runs on Polaris Parkway btwn. State Rt.3 (Westerville Rd/State St) and Cleveland Ave. The local police usually sit off of the side of the roadway, in the grassy areas. They have recently marked the roadway so that they can run aerial speed enforcement with the Ohio State Patrol.
161East Around Sunbury Road area
Have seen them on the Sunbury Road bridge that passes over 161 watching traffic both Eastbound and Westbound. The one on the bridge signals several who are actually on 161 and it all over after that!
Sunbury Rd
Cops will hide behind buildings and bushes. I’ve been pulled over 2 times already, but recieved a warning, but the second time was a ticket. Some are very sneaky, you might notice until after you pass them.
