Asher officer(s) are known to park either north or south end of town usually in a hidden type position. Next to a parked car or by a tree. Any amount over the speed limit will get you stopped and ticketed. Also, there is a 4-way stop in town and you had better come to a complete stop or that too will warrant a ticket.

Asher Police monitor radio traffice of towns north, south, east and west of Asher if you should get a ticket for say faulty equipment(head light etc..) and are heading in the vicinity of Asher they will be looking to give you another ticket. Municipal fines are there only source of income.

The speed limit drops from form 65 to 55 and there is a cop who sets atop a hill on the East side of the highway. He will pull you over if you are not doing 55 past the sign. He will give you a ticket every time and search your vehicle. Out-of-state plates and 18 wheelers Beware!
