There is construction at both intersections Warning! In less then 500ft the speed drops from 45 to 25 mph. WATCH your speed. Marked and unmarked cars. Plain white and plain blue cars. And most of all DO NOT TURN LEFT! You will get nailed….

With all the new business going up around Broken Arrow it seems that this area get’s hit the hardest by Cop’s. Really I think the whole town is a speed trap but 71st and Aspen they just have better hiding spots. I for one have not been pulled over here yet but I do know they are there sitting just waiting to see who is next

On south Elm there are construction zones with no work being performed, Only orange barrels (our state tree) narrowing the road to two lanes. I was following a wrecker and matching his speed with several cars behind me doing the same. I was stopped and issued a $90 ticket for speeding in a construction zone. When I asked why the wrecker was not stopped the officer told me that the next time he needed a wrecker to clear an accident, he would be waiting for at least an hour. He reduced the ticket to $90 and told me the ticket should have been $180 for speeding in a construction zone.
