Byng, Oklahoma Speed Traps

From Byng store to Allen. There have been highway patrols working the roads all the way from Byng to Allen. Believe me – I know.

5 mile stretch of Old highway 99 coming out of Ada and into Byng. The speed limit is 45 and for heaven sakes its too slow! You feel like you are in a parade for 5 miles. There are numerous hilly places to hide, but since Byng has no city cops, it is usually the Oklahoma Highway Patrol who pull you over. And there are at least 4 Highway Patrolmen who live in the Byng area, so it is more likely they will get you! Also, the main streets in Byng (Main and Broadway) are 35 mph, which the OHP travels on frequently as well. Just slow down and you will be fine.
