Carney, Oklahoma Speed Traps

Police target business travelers and college students. Always out at various points in town watching highway traffic however most of the time they are at the bank on north edge of town, near the oilfield business on the south side, or the convience store. Have seen officers as early as 5:30 am to midnight.

Lots of complaints were posted here regarding Carney last spring and have disappeared.

the other guy that has a speedtrap is right they like to sit anywhere and everywhere and the place that they like to hide the most is by the pizza place the camaro is gonna be painted black soon and the unmarked is still there and they just got a new officer that runns all night so watch out through this town

These cops are harsh. They hide anywhere! One drives a Carmero, and the other drives a white UNMARKED Crown Victoria. These guys hate anyone who is not from their town.
