The police officers in checotah have hired a bunch of new young officers who love to write every person they see some knid of peice of paper. out of town or a resident of the city makes no differance. The officers also use k-9’s and will search most out of town traffic and will stop you for somthing no more important than a tag light so obeying the speed limit will only prolong the misery. The county sheriff’s office and O.H.P. also work this city heavily so if your trip takes you through this town get ready you will probably be oulled over.
