Forest Park, Oklahoma Speed Traps

Any street in the Forest Park area is a speed trap but 36th Street east of interstate 35 is the worst. We were stopped at 8:30 in the even for going 40 in a 35 mile zone, we were stopped just short ( as in 50 feet)of a speed limit sign showing limit to be 40.

This entire town is a speed trap. However, Sooner Road is interrupted–DO NOT GO WEST! You are effectively detoured to a 4-lane road posted at 25mph. Do you realize how hard it is to go that slow on a road like that? It’s completely counter-intuitive–about like going 40mph on the Interstate–you just wouldn’t do it. It doesn’t seem smart–so your brain tells you "You must go faster". What a racket.
