Kellyville, Oklahoma Speed Traps

Outside of Kellyville the speed limit drops from 65 to 55, it is posted way out of town, I was slowing down to 55 when the local cop pulled me over and claimed I was doing 67. I was driving a brand new car with digital speed readout that showed 65, he insisted on writing me up for 66 without any warning, I have not had a ticket in 14 years, and I work in Kellyville, at a new factory bringing life to the all but dead town of Kellyville. I will not do any business in Kellyville any longer, and I am ashamed that my company gave money to these corrupt simpletons.

Speed goes from 35 to 25

Speed is posted on major hiway 66 through town at 45 mph. Once well outside of town posted speed is 55 mph. On down the road it is posted again at 55 mph, leading most to believe there is an actual increase in speed. Between that 2nd posted sign of 55 mph to the next one which is quater mile down the road posted at 65 mph is where they will get you. They stopped my daughter 10 feet from the 65 mph posting and issued a citation for $144.00. The traveling judge naturally upheld the conviction. Kellyville has long been known to be a speed trap to the locals around here.
