Mannford, Oklahoma Speed Traps
Highway 51 both east and westbound.
Westbound on highway 51 sign suddenly drops speed limit to 55mph just after you go over a hill and are going downhill with really no reason to drop speed limit. Speed trap cars on right by state park entrance and marina entrance south of highway. Always at least one car in town by stoplight with radar. Eastbound coming into town they park on both left and right with radar facing the speed limit 55 sign. you must be going 55 at the sign, not slowing down. Zero tolerance. Very high percentage of Mannford’s budget comes from speed trap tickets. Truckers and poor folks like me beware Mannford.
