Moore, Oklahoma Speed Traps
19th and Patterson Drive
At a three-way stop the cop sits on S. patterson Dr. about 30 feet from the intersection. He is there all the time, and no one ever stops at that intersection…
Intersection of Janeway and 8th
It’s easy to speed through the neighborhood and Cali roll through this stop sign. There is usually a cop sitting there to catch you. I see at least one person a week pulled over here, so slow down and stop everywhere in the neighborhood.
Santa Fe between N. 12th street and S.4th street
Rolling radar and hidden motorcycle police patrol two school zones in this short stretch. I see several people each week pulled over trough here.
Santa Fe between NW 27th & 12th
Speed limit changes from 40 (in OKC) to 35 (in Moore) just as you crest a small hill. I’ve seen several people caught using rolling radar.
S.W. 4th
Cop is always sitting in the old KOMA parking lot. There are a lot of trees around. I see him in the late afternoons around 4:00 and Saturday afternoons. and some mornings….4th street is very busy and the speed limit is 40 MPH.
