Norman, Oklahoma Speed Traps
Be very careful here! Unmarked *maroon* Crown Vic interceptors hide out after business hours at the bank lot across from 7-11. Extremely insidious. They’re looking for people who speed across the relatively new traffic light.
Watch out for frequent black and white presence on the road going to the new Medical Center. If you’re coming from the south at Rock Creek, the cop will be obscured until it’s too late
The new ticket house/shop that’s on the east side of the road midway between Robinson and Rock Creek under construction is a favorite for the fuzz. The new parking lot actually dips down a couple feet in elevation, and curves around the structure. This allows a black and white’s lower half to be obscured in addition to not being visible at all until you’re almost 90 degrees perpendicular to the lot entrance. Stay at 45, theresno way to tell if he’s there til its too late
The police will tag team at this corner. You will be turning a corner from Porter to Gray, the speed limit is 25 mph. One cop will hide in a parking lot and the other cop will be parked on the side of Crawford. They pull people over left and right.
There have been highway patrol units on both sides of I-35 at Indian Hills road during morning commute. There are multiple units and they have backward pointing radar to get you coming up behind them.
