Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Speed Traps
Sw 29 n meridian
Construction zone Saturday no construction speed trap no traffic
North Lake Hefner Parkway
10-16-2016, patrols are using fully unmarked cars to ticket people for doing 66 in a 65 zone. A friend of mine just got a $160 speeding ticket on N. Lake Hefner Parkway near NW 122nd a couple hours ago.
SW 54th St. From Portland to Regina Ave.
This road has become a major speed trap. I even had a officer admit that FAA traffic was there target. Sounds unconstitutional to me. All the while the police officer’s headed to and from the briefing station are the worst driver’s on this road.
S Anderson Rd between SE 59th & I-40
Just found out by checking this past Saturday, July 30th that S Anderson Rd between SE 59th to I-40 is now open and the on/off ramps are open as well. That’s the good news. Now the bad news. My wife advised me this morning that there were about 6 Oklahoma City Police officers on motorcycles laying in wait for anyone to speed on the newly opened 4-lane portion of Anderson. Evidently, there’s a small 25 MPH sign right now and the City of Oklahoma City probably made about $2000 today in tickets. You can’t even coast down Anderson at 25 MPH as you head to I-40. Anyway, just wanted to make everyone aware. I don’t know why the speed limit is that low. Normally, the speed limit on this stretch is 45 MPH.
