Spiro, Oklahoma Speed Traps

Highway 9 running East-West is a semi-divided highway. Many sections have warning of speed limit reduction. West bound, when entering Spiro’s city limits the speed signs are 55, then a sign of “Welcome to Spiro” then a few hundred feet later, speed limit sign of 45! No warning of speed limit reduction!
Also if you drive a low vehicle like my Toyota Camry, the 45 mph sign is partially obscured by the “Welcome to Spiro” sign! Its a “honey hole” for the local cops! Next time, I won’t bother to stop to eat or to contribute to their sales tax income.
