Lakeview Rd just east of the Boomer Lake Bridge

Police sit in that duplex parking lot just as you come over the bridge on the south side. A traffic light has just been recently installed at that intersection, so they are looking for people trying to hurry to move over from the right lane into the left lane before they they get to the light.

State Highway 51 near Interstate 35

Oklahoma highway police hide on the south side of highway 51 about 2 miles east of interstate 35. I have seen them inside of patrol cars shooting radar. Watch your speed particularly on OSU game days traveling to and away from Stillwater. They are commonly spotted between this site and Coyle road. The highway police will hide on the opposite sides of hills and trees to avoid being seen.

12th Street

The police sit in the parking lot on the north side across from Couch Park with radar, usually getting you where the speed limit changes heading towards Jardot. They also sit in the church parking lot…both places hide them from your sight
till it’s too late.

West McElroy Street near Western Avenue

The Oklahoma State University Police love to hide out anywhere west of the intersection of West McElroy and Western Avenue. Even the City of Stillwater Police told me about the trap. The lowest ticket they hand out is over one hundred and eighty dollars.

west 4th Avenue near Hester Road

Police hide out behind houses and trees. They will hand out tickets for not wearing seatbelts, not completely coming to a stop, or any other minor thing they can find. I’ve personally seen one cop pull over at least 7 cars in one hour almost every weekend.
