State Highway 51 near Coyle Road
One to Four HWY patrol cars cruise back and forth over a three mile stretch of SH-51 stopping as many as three cars apiece at once.
State Highway 51 near Bridge near Sangre Rd.
On or around bridge between Sangre Road and OSU Pig Farm. Stillwater and OHP contstatly monitoring at rush periods and especially on game days. Speed limit is 45 MPH.
US Highway 51 near Lake Blackwell turn
Approximately 8 miles west of Stillwater on HWY 51 about 2 miles past the Lake Blackwell turnoff. OHP sits on the north side of the HWY in a curve behind trees laying in wait for unsuspect motorists. The limit is 65 mph but it is a divided 4 lane and a safe speed is easily 75 mph. Even high end RDs are not very effective since OHP is using very low powered Ka units and the trap is in a curve.
State Highway 51
Construction zone East of town where speed limit goes gradually from 65 to 45(well marked). Too many drivers speed up to get ahead of others before construction, and get nabbed by OHP sitting in the construction area.
