Tulsa, Oklahoma Speed Traps
Highway 51 and 41st Street
7 motorcycle cops watching Highway 51 sitting on the on ramp
Riverside Drive between 11th Street and 21st Street
Driving north, the speed limit drops from 40 to 30 mph here. There is only one speed limit sign in this section (is that deliberate?), and it is very easy to miss.
E. 81st St. between Mingo & Memorial
There is a motorcycle cop hiding out in a neighborhood entrance on the south side just past the golf course catching traffic going both ways. They widened this stretch & kept the speed limit at 40 MPH, and it’s very easy to speed there, especially since there is a small hill. I’ve seen multiple people pulled over, especially during morning commute, and seen the motorcycle cop go in around 9am before.
33rd west av
The speed limit on this street is 35 miles an hour. Other streets on throughfares are 45 miles an hour.
East Bound Broken Arrow Expressway at 41st Street Overpass
The officer stands on 41st Street overpass and clocks eastbound vehicles after they go under the overpass. You cannot see him because he stands on the east side of the 41st Street overpass. Motorcycle officers are waiting at the eastbound entrance ramp just before you cross Mingo Road. At times I have seen 5 motorcycles with at least a dozen cars pulled over.
