Valley Brook, Oklahoma Speed Traps
S.E. 59th St., west of Eastern Ave.
The area is a strip mall and a police station in length on SE 59th, the main attraction of the town being several nudie bars and (in July) fireworks sales. They stopped my husband for an expired tag, impounded his car, and made him walk home.
In a tiny town that refused to be incorporated into Oklahoma City, it’s police officials are insufferable. Beware.
SE 59th Street near S. Eastern Street
Valley Brook is 1 mile by 1 mile in size and has 8 police cars.
Eastern Avenue near S.E. 59th Street
Heading North bound on Eastern avenue, especially during morning traffic you enter into the city of Valley Brook, the speed limit drops from 50 to 40 mph and on the West side of Eastern just about 1 mile before SE 59th Street there is always a cop car waiting to catch somebody.
S.E. 59th Street near Interstate 35
The town of Valley Brook is completely surrounded by Oklahoma City. The trap is on S.E. 59th Street, between Eastern Avenue and Interstate 35. The police station is on that street.
S.E. 59th (right off I35) through Eastern
There seem to be more officers in those 4 block that make up Valley Brook than in all of Oklahoma City. They watch for minor mistakes then get you for anything else if you prove them wrong.
