Vian, Oklahoma Speed Traps

OSP is out there every single day and I have seen them all throughout the day. There looking for people running drugs but will pull you over for anything and I mean anything. Do the speed limit and stay between the lines if you don’t want pulled over along that stretch of interstate.

Pulled over for doing 38 mph in a 25 mph even though the sign said 35 mph after the (25 mph) school zone sign.

Traveling back through Vian to the interstate is a school zone. The speed limit is always 25 no matter what the time of day. I got pulled over at 4am hadnt passed a car either way for 16 miles coming from the lake down to Vian. I speed up to from 25 and then the end school zone sign to 45. Got pulled over for going 45 in 25. The officer was very nice and didnt give me a ticket. But the 35mph sign is in front of the sign that says end school zone. If its always 25 that sign should be removed. Stick to 25Mph in Vian or you will be stopped.

My husband was given a speeding ticket for doing 39 in a school zone on a Sunday evening. In Arkansas the speed limit in school zones say 25 when children are present.
