They sit at the Turnpike Gate and will write you a ticket if you don’t stop at the stop sign. It is a bad area for wrecks.

Highway construction has routed all US-66 traffic through the middle of this tiny town, which, admittedly, does create potential problems for citizens and travelers. The "main street" is narrow and winding and 25 mph certainly warranted. However, changing the old 65 mph signs all of a sudden a mile out of town down to a sudden 45 mph smell of entrapment.
