cruisers like to sit in the elementary school parking lot on Prince William Way or in the road right beside the parking lot and get people in the community safety zone where the speed limit drops to 40km/h

the cruiser will be on the ramp behind some bushes, so you don’t see him till last minute.

The area of Sunnidale Road just outside of town between Dobson Road & Barrie Hill Road drops from an 80kph zone to a 50kph zone. The OPP like to sit on Dobson, and on the two side streets leading into Stonegate. You don’t see them until it’s too late. They usually monitor this area during the 7am – 9 am & 3pm – 5pm times, and are especially vigilant due to heavy school bus traffic at those times.
