Baseline Road
Police Car is parked behind a group of trees on the north side of Baseline Road mid way between Waverley Road and Liberty Street, very dificult to see the police car when going east bound, it is 50Km/hr limit, car’s are usually doing 60+
State Highway 2 near Clarington Boulevard
Heading eastbound on Highway 2, the trap will sit at the corner of Clarington Blvd and the highway, usually parked behind the Kelsey’s on the RH side. Highway drops from a 70km/h to a 50km/h zone, and DRPS simply sits there and flags down 50% of the motorists. There are actually 3 traps within a 2KM stretch of the highway.
RR3 west of Enniskillen, in dip at bottom of hill
Mainly aimed at traffic going West bound down hill, hill is posted 50kmh, VERY dificult to maintain speed, changes to 80kmh after hill. Police hide in drive way on North side of road, dificult to see because of bushes.
Hwy#2 , West of Maple Grove Rd, East of Rundle Rd
This area goes from 80km/hr to 70km/hr and the Durham Regional Police sit in the driveway on the North side of the road just to the west side of Grease Monkeys Garage.
Liberty Street south of Taunton
Police officer sits in the driveway of someones house on the west side of the street. Gets people going both North and South.
