Paris Road near Henderson Avenue

Brantford, OntarioJan 17, 20080 Comments

Heading south on Paris Road from Hardy Road/Tollgate road intersection, past St. John’s College, law enforcers will be set up using a tripod in the centre median in behind a centre sign on the median. You will be directed into Henderson Ave to be ticketed. No vehicles visible; and you will be driving down a slight hill from the school, so it’s easy to speed up and not notice how fast you are going. Very sneaky!

Police sit on the side street behind the tree and get victims travelling West mostly just after the 60 KPH zone drops to 50 KPH.

Hardy Road near Trail Parking Lot

Brantford, OntarioOct 25, 20070 Comments

With the increased traffic on Hardy Road, speedtraps have also increased. I drive through there four or more times a day, and it is a rare day I don’t see a speedtrap. The most common location is the trail parking lot, and it’s usually the unmarked cruiser with a radar gun, looking for all the world like an innocent hiker about to pull out!
