Normally between 7:30 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. O.P.P. patrol cars proceed from base and immediately jump on the 401.Most days their numbers are moderate to few but on occassion they can be quite heavy.Their usual targets are those who travel 20 km/h or more above the published 100 km/h.

Northbound drivers into Cambridge are the target here.Posted limit goes from 80 km/h to 60 km/h.The trap will be located at or just south of the entrance/exit for the "L’il Big Horn Saloon."Police will be consealed by slightly rolling terrain which most times hides them from view until you are right on top of them.*Note:the occassional motorist may alert you to the presence of the police by using their high-beam so be alert!
