Fonthill, Ontario Speed Traps

A favourite of the NRP. They are there 2-3 times a week. Going East on Hwy 20, the speed drops from 80km/h to 70km/h when you are cruising at 85km/h. There’s a 15 over ticket….

I posted the E.L Crossley speed trap. 3 km east of Crossley, the police set up a trap at the stop sign where Timmsdale Cr. meets Hwy 20. Usually at noon hour in an unmarked police car sitting right at the stop sign (sitting at a stop sign is illegal for you and me). The officer usually has a flourescent green police vest on in the car. The 70 km zone mentioned in my previous post, drops down to 50 km/h after Gallagher’s market into the dip and up the hill past Timmsdale. Watch out for that one.

Anywhere between S. Pelham and Merritville Hwy. The speed was 80km/hr now is only 60km/hr. Watch out!!!!!!!

Parking lot of the Friends of Pelham Evangelical Church. Cruiser sits to the south side of the church, hidden by the trees. Speed limit is 50km/h, most people do between 60 and 70 km/h.
