Hamilton, Ontario Speed Traps

Police like to sit at this busy exit and always seem to be pulling people over. I used to work in this area and come off the exit onto Main Street and, nine times out of ten, there are police parked here and seven to eight times out of ten, they are handing someone a ticket. It’s a fairly tight turn onto the highway off this exit, so I guess they feel they can control things better by pulling over anybody. They don’t seem to pay attention to the fact that it is the speeding trucks that cause the problems on the ramp. Never have I seen them pull over a truck.

Between Stone Church and Limeridge – Radar trap parked on the one of the side streets. People tend to speed once they pass over the Linc and he’s waiting for you at the bottom. (South bound)

They will blitz north bound commuters going into work in the morning, even pulling over groups of cars if they are all going the same speed.

There is a new survey being built on Greenhill between SummerCrest and King Street. The police like to hide behind the construction trucks parked on the road or in the new streets being built.
