Markham, Ontario Speed Traps

This trap is ridiculous! Police are set up on the North side of Elgin Mills and clock you from behind a huge set of trees, making them absolutly unnoticable from the road. The limit here is 60km/h, totally unrealistic considering the fact that it’s a one lane road with no houses around. I’ve seen many people caught here and was a victim myself – this one’s been around for years.

Police set up underneath 19th Avenue bridge, getting people going southbound on the Hwy 404. This one’s new and I saw it late night as well as mid-day.

Going east on 16th ave, right past Buttonville Airport. There is alwasy cops hiding in those new townhouses. Time is usually morning rush hour or lunch time 12-1pm. I drive by there everyday, what out guys.

There is a primary Catholic school on the west side here where the speed limit goes down to 40 from 60. They sit a)in the church parking lot north & east, b) in the school entrance way, c) in the intersection south of the school. They were there this morning getting ready for the new school year.
