Scott Blvd (between Landsborough & Pringle)

Milton, OntarioNov 07, 20110 Comments

Nasty little trap here. What we have is 2 full all way stop signs (one at Landsborough & one at Pringle) and in between them is a huge stretch of wide road with a 40KM speed limit (and a school zone so increased fines). Cops regularly camp out at either end and will book you for speeding or in some cases failure to completely stop.

Tremaine Rd, North of Derry Road

Taking my children skiing at kelso and out of nowhere, police pull me over. Surprised me, apparently, there is a speed change. Being from out of town, I did not know this.

5th Line North Bound to Britannia

Milton, OntarioSep 23, 20100 Comments

There’s a little driveway entrance to a farm field on your right hand side. Cops sit there and catch anyone doing more than 50km/h coming up the hill then it flattens out. Usually don’t seem them due to heavy brush along side of entrance to farm. Slow down coming up the hill to 50km’s until you get to Britannia.

Britannia Rd, eastbound between Thompson and 4th line

Milton, OntarioJul 15, 20100 Comments

Okay, so heading on Britannia, eastbound this morning from off Thompson to 4th line. Speed limit changes from 80KM to 60KM. Cops were parked in Omagh park with their lasers. This was about 9AM.

Trafalgar Rd. South Bound at the CN rail overpass

Milton, OntarioMay 11, 20100 Comments

Cars heading south bound will run into a cruiser parked on a sideroad right after they crest the hill coming south over the overpass. Posted speed is 70km/h on this stretch of road. Usually they are there in the morning rush hours. I have seen them parked on the north side of the overpass as well catching cars coming north during the evening rush hours. Slow down as you crest the hill and watch the tail lights of the cars at the top of the hill. It’s usually a good indicator.
