The area is a 60km/h community safety zone which means fines are doubled. There is one school located in this area. Police have been doing radar in marked and unmarked cruisers at random times of the day. Slow down fines are steep in community safety zones!

Summer 2010 there is construction north of Nobel with 70 km/h limit and doubled fines when workers present. Sometimes multiple traps. Set your cruise to 70.

going north towards Sudbury, on the right hand side road at Nobel school, best stick to speed limit around the Tim Hortons, til the posted speed is 90Kph

As you proceed down the hill at the end of the four lanes leaving Nobel, Police are usually on the side road at the bottom setup with a tripod and several officers. They are very vigilant in summer months, and more so on Holiday weekends.
