Orangeville, Ontario Speed Traps

This is a semi-rural street (no sidewalks)which is posted 40 kph due to 2 neaby schools. Without the schools, normal traffic would travel at 70 kph. The police usually set up their speed traps on Saturday or Sunday , when there are no students, and rake in anyone going over 50 kph. Big money grab, for sure.

Driveway near new Humber College location

Police car around bend going into town, hidden by a slight gradient. Going the other way it’s hidden by a moderate hill. You can’t see it either way..great spot.

Two lane hilly paved road that bypasses Orangeville. (Rural setting) 60kph zone. You will be over the top of the hill before you see the trap. Sunday mornings are a favourite.
