Oshawa, Ontario Speed Traps
Conlin Rd and Ritson Rd @ Maine St.
Ritson Rd n of Conlin changes from a 50 km/hr to an 80 km/hr zone. The radar sits on Maine St and nails people coming southbound into the 50 km/hr zone. You can’t see them because of a bend in the road.
rossland road and summerville
They watch for east bound traffic on rossland at summerville usually 2 cars writing tickets
harmony and highway 2
They usually sit in the fire station watching south bound traffic
Taunton Road & Trulls Rd
This used to be a huge speed trap since an officers mother used to own house on northeast side of intersection but even since she sold the house in 2009 , I’ve seen him sit on south side of intersection in front of the Petro Canada gas station facing east catching speeders with Radar as the come over the hill westbound lane from an 80km to 50km zone
Simcoe Street, South of SJ Phillips Elementary School
Officers will park on a side street so you can’t see the cruiser, then point the laser at you traveling north on Simcoe.
