Sherbrooke Street near Summit Drive

Peterborough, OntarioAug 24, 20080 Comments

It Is very common as you are heading east on sherbrooke that just as you come over the Hill by Hywood drive water tower you will notice a Radar trap just at the turn off to go up the hill to summit drive right at the bend, very sneaky for those coming east on sherbrooke around the uphill bend as well.Ive noticed this often and sometimes there are a few people being issued tickets.Sometimes a few cop cars there or evn a motorcycle Ive seen there also.So be careful if your heading up or near the Glenforest street route.

Police cars parked on Eastbound lanes just prior to entrance of Zoo. Officer uses tri-pod laser while other officers flag you down.

Ashburnham Street near Highway 115 / Crowley Line

Peterborough, OntarioAug 30, 20070 Comments

Seems to be a sit and meet area for police and they pull in together where the railroad track is on the East side of Crowley line. Good place to be caught on dirt bikes or ATVs. Coming north on Crowley line there is a hill and once you decend it the police are sitting right there on your right. Leaves no time for reaction.

University Road near Parkhill Road

Peterborough, OntarioJan 23, 20071 Comments

Peterborough OPP car is stationed with lights off facing southbound at the bottom of the second most north hill. If you are coming from Parkhill onto university road, be sure to stay around the limit when going over the hills. He’s gotten me once here. This is a favourite spot for this cruiser, spotted often usually after 2am.
